Job Description

The Director of Integrated Marketing at Think Rubix and Company is a visionary leader who guides and oversees the marketing efforts and execution of projects across the organization. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced professional with a passion for PR, advertising, and social impact. The Director of Integrated Marketing reports to the Chief Storyteller.

As the Director of Integrated Marketing at Think Rubix, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our marketing strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and impact for both Think Rubix and our diverse range of clients. Your expertise in earned and paid media strategy, combined with your strong problem-solving skills, will drive the success of integrated marketing campaigns. You will lead a talented team and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and achieve marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive integrated marketing strategies that encompass earned and paid media across various channels, including digital, social, PR, and more.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage an integrated marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and high-performance.
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to define marketing goals, identify target audiences, and develop strategies that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of innovative PR campaigns that leverage media relationships and storytelling to drive brand awareness and thought leadership.
  • Plan, implement, and optimize digital marketing initiatives, including content marketing, social media, email campaigns, and SEO/SEM strategies.
  • Analyze campaign performance data and KPIs to measure effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Collaborate with design, content, and development teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and alignment across all marketing touchpoints.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, social impact, and social responsibility initiatives to continuously enhance the organization's marketing strategies.
  • Manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and report on the ROI of marketing activities to key stakeholders.
  • Drive innovation and explore new opportunities for expanding the reach and impact of Think Rubix's marketing efforts.
Expected allocation of time:
  • 50% dedicated to service delivery for clients
  • 20% dedicated to services delivery for TR&Co.
  • 15% dedicated to business development: including, but not limited to, following up on client leads and working with pod chiefs and other directors to complete proposals
  • 15% dedicated to pod management and ‘housekeeping’ - including:
  • Tracking billable hours
  • Updating project management boards
  • Agenda-setting for pod huddles and leading internal huddles

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in integrated marketing, with a strong emphasis on earned and paid media strategy and execution.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns across various channels and platforms.
  • Experience in managing and leading cross-functional marketing teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Deep understanding of PR strategies, media relations, and crisis communications.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing techniques, including content marketing, social media, SEO, SEM, and email campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Passion for social impact, social responsibility, and a keen interest in driving positive change through marketing initiatives.
  • Remote work experience and ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment.
  • Previous experience in agency settings or working with clients from various industries is a plus.
