The ever-present optimism from people and communities across the city of Little Rock has pointed to a great potential for a shared prosperity and a vibrant future, but there are systemic barriers to unlocking these opportunities. Marginalized communities, particularly in the 12th Street and Southwest Little Rock business corridors, operate in a culture of intimidation and discrimination that leaves them at far greater vulnerability to accessing their entrepreneurial potential than their peers in the same areas.
